As a lamb to the slaughter

Well it may not be so easy to rebuddle or stay humble in such trails. Especially serious heavy matters that may be absolutely wrong and evil. Though the scripture tells us :

Matthew 5:39-48
[39]But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
[40]And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
[41]And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
[42]Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
[43]Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44]But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
[45]That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[46]For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
[47]And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
[48]Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

These verse tell us to love your enemy and to bless them that curse you. Because if you love them that love you, what thank have you?

What is the reward? Evil people do this too. They only give to them who give them something. So holiness is not proven in rewarding our neighbors with the same behavior they did unto us, or any evil response. But our response to evil is humility, peace, and love. By doing this, the power of Jesus, shifts hearts.

It is by Jesus Christ Love that we are saved

So it is by love that we help others and teach, and change. His love is the light in the storm. Many who do evil have a hard heart. It's important to soften hearts by being an example of the love of Christ , even when your hurt.

But how?

When I look at what Jesus did I learn the power of standing and dieing for love.

  1. In these verses it shows how Jesus suffered being a perfect man yet didn't speak a word against them

1 Peter 2:21-23
[21]For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
[22]Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
[23]Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

But this verse right here:

Isaiah 53:7
[7]He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

This helped me to see the character of Jesus and why I should Keep love alive in my heart even when people may not be love towards me. Love is the cure. Keep love alive in your heart and be the light in your environment, of an example of the love of Christ.

Be the example of love

Matthew 5:10-12,16

[10]Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

[11]Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

[12]Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

[16]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

1 Peter 3:8-9

[8]Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

[9]Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
